Anyone been anywhere good lately? I've heard that the Andy Goldsworthy exhibition at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park is worth visiting. Is there anyone from Wakefield (or environs) on the forum who can shine a light?

Has anyone been to the British Museum yet to see the exhibition with China's terracotta army? Is it any good?

Well worth a quick visit. Easy to digest, understandable, very colourful and I found it to be inspiring.
I think it' really important for designers to be able to draw. I find it's the quickest way for me to develop ideas, and explore what I see in my mind's eye. And the physical process of mark making (as opposed to the repeat of mouse clicking) means I remember so much.
Don't you think for example that Alan Fletcher's work is full of life - all of it I think a result of his obsessive drawing - hand, eye and brain coordination?
